Paragon Recruitment Services is a Melbourne based recruitment agency, which specialises in the recruitment of IT contract and permanent staff. Paragon's Managing Director and owner Albert Kalaja, who has been in the recruitment industry since 1986 after initially working as an IT practitioner since 1975, heads a team which has a proven track record of servicing the requirements of the IT industry.

Niche player
Since inception in 1992, Paragon has operated as a niche player in the marketplace focussing on servicing the needs of a core group of clients. In fact, a catch cry which embodies our business philosophy is “Big enough to deliver…small enough to care”.

Our position as a niche player, enables us to deliver candidates of the quality, experience and suitability required by our clients, within the context of a world where the competition for high quality staff is intense.

Honesty and Integrity
Our approach to business is based on developing a solution-centred, open and honest three-way relationship between the client, the candidate and ourselves. We believe in setting fair fees for permanent placements and contracting assignments as opposed to the usual industry philosophy of charging what the market can bear. Our Open-Book policy in relation to contract rates, ensures all parties value each other's contribution. We don't believe in intrigue and in keeping clients or candidates in the dark. It's simple, we have nothing to hide if we're taking a fair margin. This in turn means the contractors very rarely have the feeling that they are being ripped-off by their agency, they are happier in their assignment and perform accordingly
