The Lifestyle Fitness name started in 1974 by Ron Clarke (Olympian Runner). Doug Wade – legendary footballer for Nth Melbourne and Geelong started operating Lifestyle from 1981 when Ron was no longer involved in the business. Doug is still involved in the business today as Managing Director and is currently also a Director of the Geelong Football Club.
The company has a long and successful history in Fitness in Victoria and has proved to be a solid company that we are proud to say is wholly Australian owned.
Between 1981 and now our Directors acquired other Centres including Wodonga, 500 Bourke Street Melbourne, Williamstown, Richmond, Bendigo and our new centre due to open in April – Elsternwick.
Lifestyle Fitness has spent millions of dollars upgrading equipment and facilities to provide state of the art services to our members. We pride ourselves on providing superior service by professionals that are highly trained and up to date with the latest breakthroughs in health and fitness.
